Is there anyway to block one friend from sending me messages on Facebook?
It is a relative, so I don't want to block him, but he is being nosy and rude.

Yes... go to the button you used to add them it says block/repirt, then confirm it.

not if you want to keep that friend on your friends list - you would have to block the person, and that removes them from your friends list
