Does Facebook's "seen by" feature extend to people not in the group?

In some of the groups I joined, posts will say "seen by" and I can see my name, and the time. I think thats kinda creepy. So lets so I'm looking at open groups I haven't joined, will it still list me under "seen by" ?

It actually does, I had the same question about a week ago but it tracks which users it was seen by so there even if one person sees a post 5 times it still looks like it was seen once

Not from what I have seen, I say that because I have not seen it in other people's groups, but one I'm part of says the "seen by" thing

It Will Only Show in Group Chats Outside of Chat it Will Not Show Seen by The Seen By Messages Lets People Know that you have Read There Messages So if your Inside a Group and Not on Group Chat it will not show
