How to use facebook and other internet apps to run without wifi?

First I know my android is prepaid but I have internet access with it. But how can I get my facebook and other apps that have to use wifi to run? Whenever I'm not near any wifi they will not run or even allow me to open them. Any ideas on how I can get them opened or working?

your mobile network connection may not be set up correctly when i turn off my wifi my connection goes to 3g i would contact your phone provider and ask them for help they will be happy to help you through it and its usually a free call

Hello there Michaela..Just go to any stores & buy a modem if you really need to go on a net & logged on your facebook page..Hope you'll be fine when you buy any modem if you like
