Why do Facebook apps need to access your information to use them?
Even if the information they want has nothing to do with the service they provide?

Hi Christopher,
The reason is, is that for when they give you in-app-notifications; instead of asking you to fill out your name and age they just use your information provided on your profile. I hope that made sense... :-)
