Is there any way possible to find good pictures for sketching on the internet?

I literally search everything that I can think of, buuuuut I can never find the images I want. For instance, I type in 'face profile' and I get nothing but peoples facebook pics... I type in 'good pictures to sketch' and get a bunch of OTHER PEOPLES SKETCHES. So basically I'm asking, "From your experience, where do you find good pictures to draw (on the net)"

I would have to recommend stock photography.

Just go to deviantART.com and click on the "Resources and Stock Images" link to the left side of the home page and have fun.

If you're interested in figure art, Marcus Ranum has an entire gallery full of stock poses from excellent models. The link to his profile is:

You could also go to stock.xchng to look for stock of other subjects. The URL for this (free) stock photography site is:

Other than this - I would recommend you always have your camera (or camera phone) at the ready. You might be able to capture some images on your own that you can sketch later. I've made it a habit to pull out my phone and snap a photo whenever something catches my eye.
