What's wrong with my best friend (Please help!)?

This girl Naomi is my best friend and yesterday in school we were talking about our favorite movies in class. She said hers was Chronicle and all of a sudden this group of girls called her Andrew and went around telling various teachers that Naomi was gonna shoot up the school (I know that makes no sense at all, the girls are just stupid). So, Naomi left early and cut off her phone. I called her house phone and her mom said she's been in her room since yesterday just staring at the wall. She won't get on twitter or facebook or tumblr, she hasn't even cut her laptop on, her mom said she hasn't even turned on her TV and that she's just been looking at the wall for hours. She said Naomi wouldn't talk to her or to her dad.
Well, a few hours ago Naomi texted me and said she was fine. Then she said that she didn't want to put up with this anymore. I asked her what she meant and she just said "gtg." and cut her phone back off.

What could be wrong with her?

These girls were making fun of her. As andrew was the odd one out in the movie chronicle. He eventually went nuts and killed people. Her feelings were very hurt. It seems as though she might have been a little hurt over you not knowing why.

their is probably more to it then just that incident :/ maybe she feels ashamed to tell u and she sounds suicidal, show her u care and tell her ur'll be there for her, try and visit her maybe
