how facebook make so much money?

i mean they dnt have many ads working so how can they make so much money people say u cant make money with out having ads on your website so how facebook is making money and someother site? between how much money you can have from website i need detailed answers plz?

In 2011 there were about 500,000,000 facebook accounts. Let's say 200,000,000 are fake (I'm being very generous with that number), and let's say that 100,000,000 go on once a month at the most (again, I'm being generous with that number).
That leaves us with 200,000,000 people on facebook a lot.
Now, let's say an ad pays facebook only 5 cents for every person that looks at the ad. The ad eventually reaches all 200,000,000 people on facebook....
5 cents times 200000000 is 1000000000 cents, or $10,000,000 just for each person looking at the ad once.

That's a lot... and that's just one ad. let's say there are 10 ads... That's $100,000,000... 20 ads is $200,000,000... so, yeah, it can really add up.

Facebook makes its revenue through advertising. Facebook takes your private information and markets it to companies that will manipulate their ads to relate to your likes and interests.
