When i search for a particular name in facebook, also my name appear in the result list, Is my account hacked?
The name i search is not amongst my friends. It has nothing to do with friends in common because when i do search for existing friends my name isn't in the result list

no, its not hacked, i had the same problem but it was just a bug that lasted a day. if it lasts longer, your account might be hacked
