I got scammed online, will the police do anything?
I sold someone a KWA ATP (Airsoft gun) Through an airsoft trading facebook group, I sent him the gun and he said he'd ship the cash and then today he told me hes not sending the cash, he scammed me. Can I bring the law into this or is this at my own risk? Basically i'm out of luck? Please help, URGENT it's worth about 300$ with all the stuff I sent him.

If you can prove that you got screwed, then they will probably help you.

Why in the world would you send the gun BEFORE receiving a confirmed payment? You are up
S h I t ' s creek without a paddle. In the future don't do that no matter what the buyer tells you. |

Do you have a way of getting all of the transactions that occurred between you and the buyer? This would also include any conversations that you might have had with him too. Also, do you have the address of where you sent the airsoft gun? You would probably need all of this to get something done about it. If you have any of this then make a copy of it and give it to the police.
