My facebook privacy settings won/t work?

So i want it when people try to find me on facebook, nothing will show but my profile picture and a few other information like adress and relationship status.. non friends wont see my interest and activities etc.. so i changed all my privacy settings but nothing happenned? when i try to preview my profiel, non friends can see my fave movies etc .. and i dont want that.. im so frustrated.. lol.. can you please help me? ten points!

may be if you didn't want strangers to find and view you, you shouldn't have made an internet profile, i mean, if its just for your friends wouldn't they already know who you are?
