is there a way to clear everything off my facebook timeline?

i accepted an app request and i was forced to update to the stupid new facebook, and it shows stuff from way back when i first started my account, so i'm wondering if there's a way to clear everything from my timeline at once, or even my entire profile if necessary. i'm talking about how it shows that i liked someone's status months back, and i don't want it on my timeline.
didn't myspace do myspace 2.0 right before it died?
