My friend has no other friends!?
Okay, I'm a girl and I have this on friend who has no other friends but me and and this other girl. She seriously has no one else to sit with at our entire high school but me or the other girl. My friend facebook messages lots of boys from other near by highschools but they never have met each other or barely see each other. I sometimes wonder what she texts/messages them, I think it's strange...

Anyway, I always feel like I have to be the person she sits with or hangs out with. I feel almost trapped because I have other people from sports teams and just classes that I'd like to sit with at like that's say lunch but I can't because of her.

She'll really nice and I like her for a friend, but what should I do?

hmmmm, well what if you try getting her into school activities or introducing her to other people so you dont have to feel she always has to be with you. Smile

You gotta hook it up man hang with your other friends while you're with her. Like outside of school too

Well even if she's a little weird why don't you ask her to sit with you and your other friends? Clearly she needs to meet more people. If you're worried your other friends will judge you for hanging out with someone so strange or she won't mesh then it might be a little awkward but they should get over it. Everyone needs friends, don't ditch her, help her.

What's stopping you from hanging out at lunch with her together with your other friends? It would probably help her spread her wings a bit more if you suggested joining the others for lunch etc. You'd get to talk to your other friends and hopefully your currently needy friend would make new friends into the bargain.
