Does Facebook have any groups to join to make more friends?

I just joined Facebook and I'm looking to make some friends on there, so are there any groups to join there that's just for meeting people? I know Myspace has those, but Facebook, I don't know

Type Add Me into the search bar at the top of page, should come up with a list of add me groups.

A lot of fakes & spammers in there so be careful.

There are many groups you can join,you can selet the groups topic that you flike
