Facebook question: how do you show only basic information to people who are not friends or want to add you ?

Like u know how when u look at someones profile before adding them it only shows the name or basic information like that

How do I change it
Because right now I have it so everyone can see it how do I change it

use the audience selectors for each item you want to hide

first log into facebook then go to privacy and settings go to control your default privacy and click custom then set to to how you want it

You want to manage your profile. Then go to your Timeline and click on About. There is a Edit button click on it. Then just see above a button where you can manage who can see.
