Twitter is following random people?

I signed my username and password into some twitter website that helps you gain "69 followers a day" I did gain followers, but they were all creepy random people and had extremely innapropriate usernames. Then, I went under who I am following and I ended up following 100 people with innapropriate user names too! I don't know how to stop it from doing it automatically. Help

Well, I can only think of one of three reasons why this is happening, you've either been hacked in which case you should change your password, there's a glitch and you should report it to twitter in either case of a hack or not, and then there's possibly because of a third party program. Check your settings under apps and make sure there's no apps that shouldn't be there. Hope that helps some. Good luck in getting it sorted out.
