How do you disable crush ads on facebook?

Everytime I go on facebook now and then, these ads keep on popping up out of no where saying that I have a "crush" wanting to meet up with me or something. I don't know whats safe to use, and I want them gone. They are very disturbing sometimes, and they slow down my computer too... can you help me find a solution?
