Facebook problem friend?

So I have a friend and this kid is always on my nuts. He always adds the people who talk to me on fb, he also adds my exes. He sometimes makes fun of the things I post or who I talk to, he's pretty immature at times. Does anyone think he has something against me? Recently some girl started talking to me on fb by comments. Then I see that he added her. The worst part is that he talks to my exes yet he talks crap about them when he's around me?(go figure). I been thinking of deleting him as a friend but then idk he's a friend, he's cool when he wants to be, and helped me at times. I just don't want him creeping on my page. Is there a way to hide things from him, like comments, statuses, pictures, friends without deleting him as a friend.

Actually, there IS a way to hide statuses and photos from him - but not comments, though. For hiding statuses, go to the icon with that says 'friends' and click custom. Then, type his name on the 'hide this from' and there, the status will be hidden from him. As for photos, go to edit and go to the icon with 'friends' and click custom. Actually, it's pretty much the same. Hope that helped
