How do I know if she got my Facebook message?

I may be the last person on earth who doesn't use Facebook. I created a blank profile for myself to look for an old friend I lost track of about ten years ago. I finally found her on Facebook and sent her a message. It's been almost two weeks and she hasn't responded. She's updated her page since then so I know she's been on Facebook. I guess I should assume that she doesn't want to get back in touch with me, but I have this little, 3% worry that maybe she didn't see my message. Is it possible she didn't get it? Thanks for any info.

best thing to do is re send it then apologise, it wont hurt to re try

It would be hard if she did not, for some reason, get your message. I mean whenever I get a message there is a big red "1" red box that pops up by the icon that draws my attention to click on it and find out what it is. I am going to be brutally honest and say that she has read the message, but figures that she does not want to get back in touch with you. Also, you did say that you had made a blank profile right? She may be cautious if you do not have a pic and she thinks that it is some stranger trying to hit on her.

Try to make a complete facebook profile, put a picture on it. Yes it might be that she did not notice your message or she ignored it because of your blank profile. Try to resend your message. A long lost friend is so precious that is why more efforts is needed just to find them.

if you assume that she doesnt want to get back in touch with you then there is an Other way .
you can make a fake profile and then start talking with her and tell her which you want .
if you think she didnt see your Messege then send her again . she will again see your Messege in the notification and will reply you . Thanks

There's a seen feature on Facebook that tells you if a person has read your message. It tells you whether the person has seen your Facebook message.

when someone on facebook sends u a message, u only get an email if there a friend. cos someone who wasnt my friend sent me a message and i wasnt notified at all, i found it like a month later.

I suggest you to update your profile as she understand who you are. Then send message again tell her details about yourself
