How do you block a year of posts on the Facebook timeline?
I don't mind most of the posts that I have but I'd just rather cut off all access to posts from 2010 and anything before that. Is there a way I can do that without hiding posts from 2011 or recent 2012 ones?

Under "Privacy Settings" there is the "Limit the Audience for Past Posts", but that will do it for ALL past posts.

Your best option is that if you have Facebook Timeline, click "Activity Log" on the top-right. Then click "2012" at the top of that screen and change that to 2010.

From there, it will take work, but you can click the open circle on the rightmost side of each post, and select "Hidden from Timeline". If it's just the status updates you want to hide, you can instead select the privacy icon to the left of the open circle, and change it to "Only Me".

You'll have to do that for every post going down, backwards through time, there's no easy way to do it. But it can be done.
