Deleted Facebook apps still show up in search ?

I take a lot of random quizzes on facebook , but I noticed once you add the app they show up in your search and it started to get on my nerves , so I deleted all of them . But about 1/3 of them still show up when I go to search ! How do I totally delete them from my facebook ?

Go to your "Application Settings" from top right corner. There you can change what you want to be shown or not.
