Facebook showing friends my comments on other friends statuses?
So when I comment on my friends statuses it seems to show up on the timeline of my family and friends, even if that friend is not a mutual friend of theirs. I don't understand why and it's really annoying. Why does facebook feel the need to share my cursing on a friends update with my mother, grandmother, and aunt? How can I change this? I'm so sick of getting hassled for things like this, I deserve some privacy online. Why does facebook feel it is necessary to tell everyone everything I say?

You deserve some privacy online? Easy solution, delete your Facebook and quit bitching like an infant

Unfortunately, that is how Facebook works. If you want privacy, don't use Facebook.

Unfortunately you can't change that. I tried, but no luck. If you don't like it delete your facebook, or open a facebook just for friends

It's because your friend has the privacy of his post set to "friends of friends" or "public". You can tell by looking at their post and there will be a planet or cog wheel symbol at the end of the line that begins with the "Like" button.

If you want to change this, you will have to talk to your friend and ask him to change his privacy settings. If he doesn't, you can just look at the what the privacy symbol is and realize how public your conversation is.
