Lately i 've been really bored and have been making redwork after redwork (embroidery) and i need to get rid of some. Is it illegal to ask people on facebook if they want to buy one? I would give them away but i've been using my granmothers materials and i want to give her some money back. granmother

Actually, you'd be better off offering the items on Etsy, which is set up for such things.

Or just give the items as Christmas gifts, and give your grandma the money that you'd otherwise use to buy the gifts. I'd much rather have something handmade than something someone picked up at Walmart. And I love redwork.

I've given a LOT of handmade items as gifts, and nowadays if I ask someone what they want for a present, I'm usually told "I want one of your quilts" or "I'd love one of those nightshirts you make, I've worn the first one out", so I know my gifts are appreciated.
