Why does your facebook friends come up the way they do on your profile?

I know people think its random, but no matter how many times you refresh the same friends are still there just in a different order. I heard it goes by who you stalk on facebook, becuase if you look at someones profile the friends show up by who they are usually friends with. How does this work?

I'm not sure, but I think its maybe the ones you have most contact with, like, you were tagged in a lot of same pics, or posted on each others walls a lot or something like that, but that's just me guessing... I don't think its the stalking thing, 'cause I have a friend, and he is a real good programmer, and he said that it's not possible to know whos profile do you look at the most...
