Need help in buying a phone...?

I'm getting a phone soon and i know i want a blackberry but i don't know which model to get. i want a blackberry in which i can download apps such as facebook and all that u know. I want to receive push notifications and be able to do the things where i don't have to go through my email and check through. So i get notifications right on the screen. I'm sorry i know it sounds as if i know nothing, but i really dont know much about the features and which is right for me. I don't want to spend too much as well. Thanks
