Paranoid schizophrenic?
Hey im in my 20s and scared I'm losing my mind. When I was 20 I saw things heard things and thought a spirit hated me that wasn't really there. I always saw things. I still do and I used to shake. Now in my later 20s I'm noticing that I always think people are staring at me even in their cars driving by. I'm afraid people are judging me. I'm afraid that people hate me. I'm afraid that others talk badly about me. I just met a celebrity and out of nowhere I had obsessive thoughts that he hated me or I looked stupid or I pissed him off which makes no sense at all. It's irrational. He was very nice when I met him so I do t know why I keep ruminating over this. Then the final break today was I thought someone hacked into my twitter Facebook email and that they were using my page without any actual proof. I even hangout with a friend and thought he was lying to me and almost against me. I don't trust anyone. I even thought tonight what if I'm being recorded or watched or if someone was in my house out to get me and watch my every move. Do I need an antipsychotic? I also am always easily angry and anxious all day long I feel mental help.

The most respectful thing you can do for yourself and those around you is to get checked out for this and to be honest about it. I don't know you but I love you man. Good luck.

You are displaying and experiencing some of the symptoms of schizophrenia or possibly anxiety. You really should get tested and properly diagnosed. See your general practitioner first. He or She can do a summary diagnosis and refer you to the proper physician for your need. Don't delay. See the links below and don't try to diagnose yourself. What you have described is complex and you really must have a medical professional do the diagnosing.

I agree with Peggy. While what you're experiencing does sound like some of the symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia, it is very dangerous to self-diagnose. Schizophrenia's onset tends to be around early adulthood which happens to be around the age of 20, so what you've shared might sound like a probable case but a clinical psychiatrist's advice is what you should really rely on. They will help you with other decisions like if you need an antipsychotic or not because there are drawbacks to taking them.

I hope things work out for you in the end.
