Why girl with a boyfriend played me?

This girl in my group in class I like. She always sits next to me and is always laughing at my jokes. When she emails me stuff for class she puts "!!" after my name and only mine when adressing our group. After she missed 2 classes I emailed her and asked her not to miss anymore because the class is so much better when she is there, so she was there today siting by me and laughing at my jokes. I catch her looking at me all the time too. Well I just found out through Facebook she has a boyfriend. I'm pretty hurt, I was developing a big crush on her. Why didnt she just tell me she had a boyfriend? And what should I do now, just ignore her?
I didn't want to get in her pants, I wanted to get to know her and date her. Now I feel like an idiot and don't want to bother her or make her feel uncomfortable because I'm sure she knows how I feel about her.

Why should you ignore her just because she has a boyfriend? Were you just hoping to get into her pants? I thought you liked her. Surely her having a boyfriend doesn't make her company any less pleasurable.

there's no reason you both can't be friends
you can still get to know her and who knows maybe date her in the future
but only time can tell just keep having fun life is short to let things like that bother you
i mean she might just be a friendly person and is like that too everyone i don't think she really played you from a females point of view
