Sending a message to someone on facebook who isnt your friend, profile privacy?

I want to send a message to a classmate on facebook but i dont want her to see my profile information or friends list. How can i hide everything out of my profile from her?

You have to go into your privacy settings and make it so that anyone who isn't a friend can't see these things. It's also a good idea to do this anyway, so that you are private from anyone else you don't want seeing your profile info.

put your profile options (privacy) as friends only so she won't be able to see your profile & friends too then u can send a message with no worries
