How do I hide my Facebook Timeline from the public?

When I view my timeline as "public" (to see how the public sees my timeline) they can see everything just like my friends can!!!

and "Control Your Default Privacy" option also did'nt work!!!

privacy settings, friends....or custom , you can choose. you can't hide your timeline but you can hide what you put on it....understand?

You have to go on your profile & on the top right corner there should be a edit button or an icon which is a globe. Click on it and you can see if you want to view as private, friends, or just yourself. Just click what you want hide & it should show up!

You Cant Hide your Timeline You Can hide Certain Things but you Cant Hide Timeline All togather you Can Hide Posts By Clicking on the pencil and than Hit the Hide Button

the Default Privacy Setting will Only Work on the Recent Posts All the Previous Posts it Does Not Work For

If u want to stop ur fb from being public,so simply go to the Privacy Settings,and from Control Your Default Privacy u can change it in whatever u want.
If u want to see that either it works or not,open ur timeline and the place where u post something there ll come Friends Of Friends or something else.

Go to your account setting and click privacy where you can set the level of your privacy like if you don't want that people show your updates on timeline then set privacy there are some options like visible to
1. public
2. friends
3.only me etc

you can show according to your requirement and else take a help of facebook help.

go to your privacy page and use the "limit past posts" option to set them all to friends only
