what's facebook's advantage over other social network sites?

why the CEO of Facebook has 6.5 billion while other social network site owners got nothing compared to him and how does facebook make money? from ads? thanks and please be as thorough as possible

it makes money through people buying things like credits on games and paying to make group adverts etc.

1) I don't see any. I used to have my own website anyone could look at and read about me and see my pictures, long before the word "blog" even existed.

2) Then I had a Myspace page which I used similarly and enjoyed posting content and photos there for my friends or whoever else to see.

3) Then the iron curtain came down when Facebook came out and Myspace started letting people hide their profiles.

4) Now I don't have any of those things and even shut down my remaining blogs recently.

5) Yahoo! Answers is the only place I feel at all comfortable enough to post anything, this is a total throw-away account I could dump or lose at any time without any qualms, and despite being a white male US born citizen I plan to leave the US within the year as I do not feel safe here anymore due to my philosophy which stands opposed to the faulty and destructive mistake that is Western Civilization, and its tools of tyranny.
