So, my crush likes me-- I think.
This has been going on for a full year now. So it's pretty much a continuation. Firstly, I noticed how much he stared at me. Since last year. He'll look at me and if I catch him, he'll look away quickly. Plus apparently in class my friend told me that my crush called his friend's name, and he kept his eyes focused on me. He never said anything after that.
Then my friend always says she sees him looking at me. I talked to him on facebook to ask about a homework question, which he successfully replied to. He's never approached me or anything.
His friends seem to always glance my way when they're in a group. We were in the lunch que and I was giggling away with my best friend when my crush was about two inches away from me, still keeping his gaze fixiated on me.
So the staring is basically what I'm curious about because it's not even merely a smile. It's a total blank-ish look. I think I've only seen him share a smile once, but very vague and I don't know if it was directed at me properly.
Lastly, the other day my friend again said that he seems to get closer to me in class. Like when we packed up for the bell, he basically just kept coming over to his friends--near me but everytime me and my group of friends moved. So did he.
Please tell me what's going on. I am so super curious. And please don't say he's shy. Anyone that has a full thorough answer, you will get so much praise. I just don't know what to do. He never talks to me. But has been staring at me FULL ON for a year.

Oh by the way, once he was moved to my table for one lesson and he laughed when my friends brought up jokes I beared to her and also while listening to the teacher, he kinda just studied me.
Plus it's going onto the next level, we were walking to our next class. Me and my best friend passed my crush and his friend quickily to get to it and then I heard them close behind me. Like they were catching up or something....this is the same friend that pushed my crush into me.

He is the same as you to shy to do much more than wonder at the moment. He is obviously into you and it seems you are into him as well. Start a direct conversation with him invite him into your daily activities in class. Make him feel like he is welcome to be part of your social group then allow him the time to come around. He is going through alot of changes right now and is controlling the urges he needs to control, friendship will help him with this.
