What does the "only me" option on facebook privacy mean?
With all these updates to privacy options I just want insure my privacy is protected. What does the only me option mean? How can I restrict my picture coming up when my name is search? Basically how do I make it so the general public can not look me up and see my information?

To your first question, what does "only me" mean -- It means only you will be able to see that post and no one else, not even friends.
To your second question, there is no way to restrict your profile pic from coming up, so make sure it is appropriate for your job, school, etc. To make it so the general public cant look up your information, you will find that in the Privacy Settings in the top right corner of Facebook. To make sure only your facebook friends can see your posts: Click the arrow next to the "Home" button in the upper right hand corner of Facebook. Head to Privacy Settings, then scroll down to "Limit the Audience for Past Posts". Click "Manage Past Post Visibility" and click the "Limit Old Posts" button. This will make all your past posts visible to Friends Only. Ads |
