Ads I've never seen before appearing on all websites?

I've been getting ads just like that on all websites I go on. I started getting the ads when I was trying to find out how to invite all friends to a facebook event. I've tried scanning for viruses and everything but nothing has come up. On the bottom right of all the ads it says "ads not by this site". I've also gotten these ads on all the browsers I've used. How do I fix it so I get a rid of these ads? Ads |

The ads are probably being inserted by an adware / malware program. To get rid of it, first uninstall any browser extensions or other software that you have installed recently, and are not sure about, as its quite likely one of those is inserting the ads.
If that doesnt work, the next step is to do an antimalware scan. I recommend "MalwareBytes Anti Malware" and also "Super Anti Spyware". Sometimes its worth scanning with both, as sometimes one program will catch something and the other wont. Once you have cleaned out the malware. A good solution for hiding the "normal" facebook ads that Facebook displays itself, is to install the FB Purity browser extension, which hides all Facebook's own ads. It also has lots of other options for cleaning up other types of facebook junk. Its been reviewed and highly rated in the Washington Post, CNET, Lifehacker and PCWorld. You can get it here: http://fbpurity.com Ads |
