Can someone help me with this Twitter question?

I don't have an account with Twitter. I usually just go to Twitter to get updates from stores or sports teams by Googling. When I click on the searches it takes me to the screen and this is what it reads "You cannot use the Twitter website without having Javascript enabled on your browser. Please re-enable Javascript and refresh this page." This started Friday morning until now. I didn't have any problem before that day. I've tried to fix it but I can't.

Enable or disable Java
1. From the Tools menu, or the Tools drop-down in the upper right, select Internet Options... .
2. Click the Programs tab.
3. Click Manage Add-ons.
4. Highlight Java Plug-in.
5. Under "Settings", click Disable/Enable.
6. Click OK, and then OK again.
