I refuse to have a Facebook account. If you read their Terms of Use they basically own everything you put on Facebook and could sell it to a third party (including photos!). I believe Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has also become very ambivalent about the issue of privacy; whenever anyone asks him he skirts the issue whereas when Facebook first came out he always stressed its importance. Facebook is basically the greatest data mine in history.
