Whats wrong with my facebook privacy settings?

Ok so I was just on facebook and this guy, who I'm not even friends with on facebook, chats me and tells me I'm pretty and a few other things (that could only be known by seeing my photos) and that he's been going through my photos and wall. I checked my settings and it say that only friends can see my photos and wall. I'm a little freaked out. Can someone explain this?

Make sure your PROFILE PICTURES are also private and set to friends only. Make sure NO settings are set to 'friends of friends'. If he sent you a message you can also edit 'who can contact me' to friends only.

Make everything on your facebook private. Since you mentioned that he commented on your photos go to privacy settings, select permission to comment on posts and make it so your friends can comment only. Then go to your photo album settings and make sure it's all private too.

Delete the comments and block him.
