How to get rid of Facebook timeline?
I signed up for pinterest and it changed my Facebook profile to the timeline which I strongly dislike, I've look up how to change it but when it says go to the 'apps section' they are no apps listed and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Any ideas how to?

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update

this guide will help you learn how to use it

it's really not that bad once you get used to it

Once Timeline is enabled on your account you can't get rid of it, if you want to give Facebook feedback about Timeline you need to write to them directly via their official Timeline feedback form here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact_us...1249796277

BTW It is possible to view all timeline pages in the faster loading and more user friendly old style profile page format, if you follow this simple guide:
http://fbpurity.com/remove-timeline
If you look closely, you will notice the page has received over 12,000 likes from people who have found the solution to work and be helpful.

FB purity is a safe browser extension / website, that has been reviewed and highly rated in The Washington Post, CNET, Lifehacker and PC World.

If you want further proof that FB Purity is safe, check out what Norton, the Antivirus company has to say about FB Purity here:

There's no way to undo the Timeline upgrade. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.
