how to get rid of facebook timeline?

Facebook automatically set the timeline layout for me, and so I thought that everyone got it but A LOT of my friends still have the old fb layout. How can I get the old layout back? I never set the timeline myself, it was automatically set for me by fb.

You can't go back. Ours will probably change too. Sorry about that, though. Those things suck. I think I'm making a new Facebook after. Hahaha

You can't. Facebook is really strong on imagining what people "want", although 98% of the time it's something that literally nobody wants.

However, despite of my hatred for Chrome, I know there's an add-on for it that reverts you back to the old facebook layout. But as I said, I absolutely despise Google Chrome so I can't confirm whether it does work or not.

You can't go back. Once you allow that nasty, useless annoying 'upgrade', You are stuck with it.

There's no way to undo the Timeline upgrade. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.
