How to tell if someone ignored your facebook friend request?

Ok so i think i added someone on Facebook yesterday (Im not really sure if i did or not ) and today i went to that persons Facebook page and it said "+1 Add Friend". So what i want to know is if i either got Ignored, or i didn't really send it. I wouldn't want to send another Friend Request unless i know for sure that i wasn't ignored, dont want to seem desperate to add them as a friend.

check it on your activity log. If you have become friends yesterday then that info will be there.
