Twitter followers! How you increase your followers list?

What time you guys take to reach at 1k twitter followers. I have only few hundred and I really want to increase this number till 3k. any help best answer.

Hi Barbra,
Many people follow some twitter accounts that do follow-back. You follow them and they'll follow you.
Note that this is not smart if you're need twitter account for a business or similar, but for personal use is very recommended.

When I opened my twitter I only have few followers till the next week then I search celebrities twitter and followed them , it bring a lot of new user in my profile. I also bought some twitter followers for my campaign.
