can the girls help me with her?
I know this gal from high school. In high school we talked, she hugged me when she seen me, locked arms and walked with me couple times. complimented on how i dressed, asked to see my abs, gave number w/o asking, and asked what I was getting for her b-day. We lost touch after high school. we regained contact thru facebook. She had a pic of me on her profile captioned "my best friend" my b-day rolled around and she typed on my profile "happy birthday to my bestie XO" we skyped one night and she said " Sorry that I look like a mess tonight" we texted acouple times and she said "text back later if you want

As a friend she likes you, just as a friend look else where for romance because while she is with someone else she's simply not available and if she were she wouldnt be a girl that you could trust.

Well, it sounds like you were surprised by her calling you her best friend...Usually, if you ask somebody who their best friend is, they'll say "Sue" or whatever haha, then go ask Sue and she'll tell you the name of the person who told you her name, ya know? It's sorta like dating...both people kiiinda have to know for it to be considered real, right? Well, it sounds like she was best friending you without you really knowing it, you sorta found out on accident, more or less...Honestly, comin from a guy, she sounds a lil clingy and needy. I mean, I know tons of chicks who hug people and lock arms with people without it meaning anything, and most of them are needy, clingy girls...It sounds like she doesn't "like" you like that, just as a friend, but she doesn't sound emotionally stable, maybe a lil crooked, so one day she might be in love with you, the next she might not...Don't read into it. Clearly, she has a boyfriend and it sounds a lil serious, I mean 3 years is a decent chunk of time, ya know? So even if she does like you, it's pointless, so let it go. It sounds like if she dumped her boyfriend and got with you, you'd just be picking up tons of baggage both with her clingy behavior AND the fact that she would have just gotten out of a serious relationship, so yeah....AVOID IT.
