The official Facebook app for the iPhone lets you access many of the features of Facebook in an optimized mobile format for when you're on the go. You can use the app to update your status, like posts and comment, but unfortunately the app lacks a feature for deleting posts. Deleting a wall post is practical if a Facebook friend posts something you don't necessarily want to share with everyone else or if you want to remove your own post. To delete a Facebook post on your iPhone, you must access the full website through Safari.

Difficulty:EasyInstructions

1
Turn on your iPhone and tap the Safari app icon.

2
Tap the URL bar at the top of the app and type Facebook, then click the "Go" button. Safari on your iPhone automatically directs you to the mobile version of Facebook.

3
Enter the email address and password for your account, and then tap the "Sign In" button.

4
Tap the "Profile" link in the top-left corner to go to your profile. Place two fingers on the center of your iPhone screen and swipe outward to zoom in if you have difficulty viewing the links.

5
Locate the post you want to delete. Swipe your finger across the post from left to rught. A red "Remove" button will appear. Tap the red "Remove" to delete the post.
