Does facebook timeline affect current privacy settings?
Two things I can't stand on fb are people knowing your recent activity and every move you make on the site and randoms seeing all the photos you're tagged in. I therefore do not allow my recent activity to be viewed and I'm the only one who can view tagged photos of myself as of now. Next week I heard everyone is getting the stupid new timeline thing. Does that mean I have to change my privacy settings or should I be okay? Any help would be appreciated. No un-called for remarks and bashing fb, that's not what I'm asking. Thanks.

Whelp, there's no question that EVERYONE will be getting the new upgrade, whether they like it or not. However, there are more than likely some things that you need to do if you want to protect your privacy. With the new timeline, viewers will be able to scroll through your Facebook posts by the YEAR! Meaning they can go back to 2009 and see everything you posted, all of your old pictures, crazy statuses your friends tagged you in, and all types of garbage that you'd rather leave buried. There are a few things you can do to eliminate the shovel that your friends or the business pryers will try to use. When you're upgraded, or if you do do early, it gives you the option of erasing all of the things you don't want shown. Hope I've helped!

You can try to make everything private, copy your profiles search thingy at the top of the browser, log out and search yourself on google. I did that when I got timeline and it said my stuff isn't view able, or you can make a fake account and go to your profile.
