I don't know a lot of people who's done both, but I have known people in each catagory. There's always that person in every school who's cool with everyone, you know? Then there's always that clique that's really close and tight and are popular and attractive and takes huge group pictures that get posted on twitter or facebook that you wish you were apart of Sad Which do you think is more affective? In being popular, I mean.

You should not care about popularity it's just a silly imaginary hierarchy that vanishes after high school or when you notice how silly it is. Just concentrate on doing well in school being happy and seizing every day Smile.

Well, being friends with everyone makes you popular, but it is not guaranteed to make you happy. Hanging out with the right people and just being yourself is the happiest route to take. Social butterflies have many enemies that secretly hate them. Try starting your own clique! I guarantee you it'll be fun! What's important is that you're having fun, you don't have to be a social butterfly. True friendships are the funnest and they last long. Popular kids don't have many real friends. They gossip behind each other's backs.

PS. Don't let popularity get into you, it'll only make you depressed. Just be yourself, hang out with the right people and you'll definitely find school enjoyable Smile
