How to get rid of Facebook Timeline?

I got the new timeline feature on Facebook and I hate it! Is there any way of switching back to my old profile??

i hate it too, it's way too confusing. the simplicity about facebook was what made it great
unfortunately everyone will soon have their profile look like this, it's also far too revealing and screws up privacy settings again

sorry, ive tried contacting facebook and they told me that there is no way to get rid of the timeline. eventually everyone will have it, so just be happy that you will have more time to get used to it!! if you need help, there are tutorials on youtube on how to use it. hope this helped!!

it is going to be forced on everyone, but truthfully i didnt like it at first either, but then i found the benefits of it, it can actually turn out to be really funny, because you can go and look at your friends old photos and statues and some tend to be hilarious, it will all get better
