Why do people always post their lives on facebook?

Many people are dissatisfied with their real lives and therefore try to fabricate it into something far more exciting, interesting and elaborate - so that their friends can view them differently to how they really are. This all derives from esteem issues. Wanting to be interesting. Those who are genuinely interesting, do not feel the need to gain self-satisfaction from posting such on a Social Network... besides, if they leave such interesting lives, how do they find so much time to post it online?

That is exactly why i don't have facebook not interested in what people do day in day out and i am certainly not interested in people knowing what i do day in day out. Who cares what someone had for there dinner or that so and so is going to asda, stalkers dream!!!
