I do not want to add one of my family members , although they keep nagging me and I dont want to be rude by keep ignoring their requests....

After adding this person , can I fix it to where they cannot see my wall posts , status updates , pictures and friends?

Yes! I have the same problem!

1. From your homepage (after you log on) drag the mouse over Settings in the top right corner
2. When the options appear, click Privacy Settings
3. Click on Profile (the first option on the list)
4. Click the down arrow on what you would like to edit, the go to Customize

hope this helps!!!

yes. Go to settings-privacy settings-you can either click on profile, to control who sees your profile, search, to control what comes up and what people can see when they search you, News feed and wall, to control what people see come up in the news feed and on your wall, and last but not least applications, to control that part too.
