How to keep my Facebook friends from seeing certain others of my friends?

Is there a way to hide the fact that I'm friends with someone on Facebook from someone else on my friends list?
So one my friends sees my friends list, and I can specify certain friends he won't see? That of course would only make sense if I myself were to not appear on these certain friend's list, if looked at by the person I want to hide them from. Weird question? Naah, someone must have had this need before (in fact, probably thousands of people...)
