I don't know what to think of this boy (Please read, kind of long but I have NO idea what to do at all)?

I've known him for a year, we've never really met in person until Saturday.
I'm 16, he's 17.
We started off as a big group of people, myself, him, my best friend and her boyfriend.
Slowly this broke off and my best friend and her boyfriend ended up miles infront of me and this boy.
This boy talked quite abit, which I found unsettling as he told me before on facebook that he was shy around people that he had a crush on.
He kept mumbling to himself, half speaking to me, half speaking to himself and was saying stuff like "If I'm a good guy then I get friend zoned.." I was nervous so I didn't reply much to these remarks.
He kept looking at my best friend and her boyfriend holding hands and at various other couples walking around and then said "I hate seeing couples, it makes me cringe." again, I didn't reply to this.
My best friend and her boyfriend eventually went somewhere else together, leaving me alone with this guy for the rest of the evening. He kept asking me stuff such as "Where do you want to go? It's completely up to you."
As we were walking he said something like "I told my brother I was easy earlier today and he laughed at me, well, I am easy.."
Just before we both split up and went home, we were sat talking on a bench and he said "I don't understand how couples get around to having sex, I wouldn't know how without it being awkward." (He's a virgin, as am I)
When we both decided to go home he said "Come here then." and hugged me, it wasn't a massive hug but it was enough.
We spoke on facebook that night and he asked me when I was next meeting up with him, I said I was available Tuesday and Thursday, for some reason he picked Tuesday even though he's never busy.
What should I think? Does he like me?

Clearly it was a set up. It sounds like he likes you, however, what sort of interest he has in mind can be another matter.

I presume you like him. In which case, I recommend you trying to move things along and see where the road takes you.
