How can I get my Twitter page more popular?

Does anyone know the English Actress Holly Kenny? She played Sambuca Kelly on BBC1 Drama Waterloo Road last year, her character was killed by an inoperable brain tumour. Well anyway, I created a Twitter Fan page for her earlier on this afternoon, at the moment I have got 103 followers - I know that's good, but I'd love to have a verified account and have many followers! But is this possible? I've been updating my status and I've got 88 Tweets and following 481 people - I will follow ANYONE who follows me.. Is there anywhere on the internet that's free that I can put up the link?
