how to delete a wall post on the new facebook timeline?

i am trying to erase all the wall posts that i have posted on other my friends walls but i cannot seem to erase the posts on my friends that have upgraded to the new timeline. i tryed to erase the wall post but it just comes up as an error. so then i tryed going to there timelline and erasing it but when click on the x nothing comes up. any help will be appreciated.
